Draft for double page spread article

Free Fall's Latest Album

Free Fall; you may or may not have heard of this indie rock group but they are new and hot on the scene. So if you haven't heard them yet, you will soon! They have just released their latest album and everyone who knows indie rock is talking about it. From this I knew I had to have a listen and find out more about this hot new band.

Before I even get into the music on the album I want to say I LOVE the album's name; 'Starlight'. It sounds like such a beautiful name to call an album, and I'm sure the rest of the team at Sound would agree.
The album consists of 8 songs. After listening to the whole album I noticed how the style of the songs vary. By this I mean that some have more of a The 1975 type of vibe and others gave off more of The Wombats vibe. Since I am a big fan of both of these two groups, I really enjoyed listening to the music Free Fall have decided to release in the 'Starlight' album.
After listening to the album for ages on repeat, and a big debate with myself, I came to a conclusion on which song I thought was my favourite. Although it was have to pick a favourite, I decided that my favourite song on 'Starlight' was the song called 'Run Away'. It is amazing! I couldn't stop listening to it to be honest, and this is how I knew it was my favourite; because every time the song ended I would want to play it again.

Although I did really enjoy listening to the album there was one or two songs which didn't really stand out to me. The song that I would class as my least favourite from the album is the song 'Escape'. This one is personally my least favourite song from the album because I felt like it didn't really catch my attention and pull me in to really listen to the lyrics. Typically I tend to know if I really like a song from if I become so engaged where I find myself searching the internet to find the lyrics. Whereas, with the song 'Escape' I didn't find myself doing this. However, this doesn't mean that the song is not good in general, it just was not one of my preferred songs from the album.

Overall, Free Fall's new album is filled with great tunes and I would seriously recommend to have a listen.
